The First Scent Promise

We understand that scent is personal. What feels comforting to one person may not feel the same to another — and that’s okay.

Our First Scent Promise exists to make trying Ember Bloom feel low-risk, transparent, and human.

If you’re trying Ember Bloom for the first time and your candle isn’t the right fit, we want to make it right.

What the First Scent Promise Is

If you are a first-time Ember Bloom customer and are unhappy with your candle’s scent, we offer a one-time replacement or store credit — no pressure, no back-and-forth.

This promise applies to your first candle purchase only.

How It Works

To qualify for the First Scent Promise:

  • You must be a first-time Ember Bloom customer

  • The candle must be lightly used (burned briefly to test the scent)

  • You must contact us within 7 days of delivery

  • One candle per customer qualifies under this promise

Once approved, you may choose:

  • A replacement candle, or

  • Store credit for a future purchase

What the Promise Does Not Cover

To keep this fair and sustainable, the First Scent Promise does not apply to:

  • Customers who have purchased from Ember Bloom before

  • Candles that are fully burned or heavily used

  • Orders with multiple candles (only one candle qualifies)

  • Requests made outside the 7-day window

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper care

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We pour our candles in small batches using high-quality ingredients, and we stand behind our work.

The First Scent Promise isn’t about returns — it’s about trust.
We want you to feel confident trying a new scent, knowing that if it isn’t right for you, you’re supported.

Include:

  • Your order number

  • The scent name

  • A short note letting us know it wasn’t the right fit

We’ll take it from there.

A Small Note 🤍

Because Ember Bloom is a small, independent studio, we reserve the right to decline requests that fall outside the spirit of this promise. We approach every request with care and fairness.
